what is freckle photography? Freckle Photography is me, Alison Harbaugh and yes, I do have freckles. I love my job. I love photographing weddings. I love photographing kids...especially newborns! I love capturing pretty much everything under the sun--and the moon. Picking up the camera always felt natural to me and I am one of the luckiest people on the planet because I'm able to do what I love and bring that joy into others lives. It comes down to this--photography is a way to capture a story. A freeze frame can bring back all of those details from a time and tell the tale of the moment. From that giggly anticipation one bride might share while getting ready for her wedding to that perfect moment when a child's smile breaks into a laugh. I want to take that moment, and keep it from being forgotten, adding another page to your story I have a degree in graphic design, have worked as a sports photographer for the Ravens, and The US Naval Academy and was a staff photographer at the Capital newspaper. I love to find that perfect balance between photojournalism and high art. I want to bring you memories that are both fresh and capture you. what should i expect on the day of the shoot? I will meet you at the location of your choice (beach, your home, park, downtown) After meeting you, I get right to work taking photographs . I love to interact with my clients and talk to them as I shoot so that they feel comfortable and eventually forget that I am taking pictures. When I work with kids, I hang out with them and interact so that they don’t get intimidated by the big camera. My shoots last about one hour or so... I make sure before we wrap up a session that I get exactly what you want.
 what should I wear or have my kids wear? Solid colored and timeless clothing is best. Clothing with patterns or designs on them will
distract from the subject. Subjects should also be comfortable and natural-these photos
are ones that you will want to be timeless. Feel free to bring a change of clothes for different looks as well as fun accessories such as hats, scarves, favorite toys, blankets, etc. For newborn photos, just their birthday suit will do, if you so choose! do i need to bring anything to the shoot? If your child has a favorite toy or hobby, feel free to bring those items along so the child will feel more comfortable and I can capture the more candid moments. For newborns, if you have a special blanket or other items that you want in the photos bring them along as well.
 do you shoot in color or black & white? I shoot all digital, so I shoot all in color, but I when I edit, I do turn some of the photos (or all if you choose) to black and white or I give them a vintage look.
 When do I get my photos? After the shoot, usually in a week or less, the photos will be available for viewing on pictage.com. This website will allow you and anyone that you give the link to, to view the photos and purchase the sizes that you would like using a credit card. You can also purchase albums, jewelry, canvas photos, and much much more. Or, if you want to have a CD of the edited images from the shoot, you can purchase that for just $250.

payment: Payment can be made the day of the shoot for all standard packages. Otherwise a deposit is required. Prints can be purchased from 
pictage.com using a credit card. Credit cards also accepted through PayPal.com.
